What to Expect:

7:45pm-8:00pm: Community chat and Q&A

8:00pm-8:15pm: Stretch and breath-work practice designed to open the diaphragm, promoting free breath flow and easing tension.

8:15pm-8:50pm: 35-minute rest session

8:50pm-9:00pm: Closing meditation
Restorative yoga postures help to release tension in the body, supporting the slowing down of the nervous system and to get out of the fight or flight response. Restorative yoga allows us to relearn the art of relaxation while developing the skills and abilities to self-soothe. It enhances our healing capacity by helping us regulate the stress response and re-balance the nervous system.
To rest is not self indulgent, to rest is to prepare to give the best of ourselves. To pause is not selfish because it makes you much more fun to be around.
